IME giant otos are not as good of a cleaner as their little brothers.santoury;691124;691124 said:Yep - they get bullyish - that's why, when you have some, plan carefully.
They are SUPER! with Cichlids (those that can't eat the algae eaters) And they do add a lot of interest and movement to the tank. They do chase smaller fish, but don't do that with Cichlids that are larger. I have 2 gold piebald ones with my Jellybean Convicts and Midas - and my 2 Leoprinus... Couldn't be happier.
But, best? Otto's I would say.
What about the "Giant Otto's" ??? How are those? (The 2 inchers)
Basically the only way to keep your glass or acrylic clean and not add a lot to your bio-load is to scrape yourself, and water change immediately to remove the algae.AROWANABE;691117;691117 said:THANKS, BUT WILL 40 ADD A LARGE BIOLOAD IN THE TANK?
