The op placed the ice with the bubbler not in the tank? Either way u gotta put clamps on those couplers, even if u have a kink in the line it will split, that's why I don't have a threaded hook up on my hose, so if the line does get kinked or clogged somehow it will pop off in the shower and no harm done....as for the water temp, I simply marked a notch on my shower knob where the temp is 78-80 with a sharpie,that way I always know its perfect. Never drink and fill lol, you'll learn that lesson the hard way
