i got him from the flea market myself, he was in a 5 gallon tank with no filter.

how much you want for it? cause theres one in sarasota for 18 bucks about 4". although i hate buying from that store... dirty. what shape is yours in, id be a little worried being its from the flea market.

eaten by a crayfish? How big was the crayfish?

And yes a TSN should be significantly higher than 74, it's an amazon fish - should be more like 84.

Increase your temperature and you'll have more active, hungrier fish and less risk of disease.

Just make sure it's well oxygenated.

no

know you know what temp to keep it at so you wont make the smae mistake twice

one thing you didnt mention was how much water did you change at the time it was still alive?

exactly, and I'm talking about your other fish too.

I change my water every 4 days on all my tanks of 30% that includes my 220. I have not lost a fish other then to other fish's eating or killing them. it doesn’t matter a bit either cause he is dead already, in the belly of my crayfish. none of my fish have died because of mistreatment. Go try to pick on someone else. my water conditions are perfect. I test it once a week. and again it says 74 in the bottom right corner. the coldest part of the tank far away from the heater. think it might be warmer in the middle? read my replies more carefully if your gonna scrutinize them.

did i just read a tsn at 84 degrees? hahahahaahahahahzAha, i v'e kept them as low as 72 degress outside with some channel cats!!! get a jurense, much nicer, more rare, and should eat right out of your hand.
