  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Thanks I have two powerheads in there not sure if you can see them in the full tank shots

Man, I am jealous! That is a beautiful pair. I was at Ira's yesterday (Monday) and too bad I missed out seeing those lovely fish!. He still had the one lone male godmani that was a little banged up and less colorful than yours.

I have to ask. . . this is said with all due respect, but, did you punch up the colors in P/S or something? They are so brilliant and sharp that I have to know. I haven't seen any pics of Godmanni that are so colorful. We have some fry at the shop, you are making me want to get some to grow out.

I hope they are that colorful. I'm growing out some that were acquired last August from the same supplier.

i did not use photo shop. I don't even own any version of photo shop. Just learning how to use the different settings on the damn camera, not ready for photo shop yet. To be honest i was blown away myself, never had godmanni or even seen them in person, but when i saw this pair my jaw just dropped. If you are ever in my area you are welcome to come an see them for yourself. You can compare the first photos of her to the new ones a big difference once she settled in.

I have been growing out a group for a little over a year, and when I saw them my eyes pop. I seen a few Godmani in my day, but I never seen them with so much color and so big. I would say that the male is 11in and the female is 9in. After over a year mine is only 7in with no where near the color or the size and even the lone male at Ira's was bigger then both his fish, but still had the same intense color. If I was selling the same pair of fish, I wouldn't let them go for a penny less than $600.00 and that would be a steal!!!! The only reason why I didn't take that lone male was because of his size. He was so hugh and I think he would've intimidated my female's. So with that said, after seeing them first hand, I know for a fact that they're was no photoshop involved to manipulate they're color cause thats the way they look at Ira.....
In a few days would you please post some pix of them with wigglers!!!!

the male is hanging out in the flower pot but the female is kinda staying to herself, she should come around soon.
