Well, got the stand set on the floor where it will go, and come to find out (after the fact) how unlevel my floor is.
It is a slab, with hardwood sitting on top. My guess is the slab is pretty out.
First $60 down the drain so to speak.
Drawing up a plan now for a metal stand similar to 12VM's. This will be finished with a casework front, so I'm not too particular about how it looks, I just want it to be level.
12VM, do you have any photos of the levelers at the bottom of your stand, and can you adjust them after the tank is in? I expect some settling into the hardwood as the tank fills.
I'm going to have a local shop fab it up for me.
