foam block for sump

im making a wet dry sump out of a 30 gallon tank. I see you need a foam block after the trickle part. where do I get something like this. same for the foam sheet right before the trickle part.
 
maybe, but you can't be sure it wasn't treated with various anti-bacterial, anti-mold, and anti-fungals.
 
Aquaclear110 sponges are about $4 at my lfs. They are fairly large and stackable. Might be worth looking into?

In that case look into that Marineland right size bonded blue pad. Every petsmart or petco has it. Its not sponge but it's a really tough poly pad. I use them in all my tanks. In canisters, cut to squares in my hob filters and laying in my sumps for trickle filtration. They are reusable and dont mat up after rinsing multiple times. Really economical
