FOAM in Tropical tank

I have a bit of bubbles that seem to accumulate in my 29 gallon. The end up clustered around the plants that reach the surface. No clue why, the fish seem healthy.
I also have a slight amount of surface film in the tank, do you?

I don't have plants that reach the surface, and no surface film.

If you have added Amquel or Ammolock that's what your film is from. I had it on my koi tank (1500 gallons) until I added a top no niche skimmer.

I use prime.

There is also a piece of mopani driftwood that still releases lots of tannins after several months.

Prime will do that too, as it's the same as the others I mentioned.

I don't know anything about driftwood... I am assuming my foam issue is from the wood.
