Just a couple of pix I have...

I read that they are believed to be a cross of a Tem and an orino, other than that, hard to find info on them.

Hopefully whenever they do become available to us they don't lose that red coloration once we put them in our tanks. Example being the wild midas and red devils people catch with rediculous reds and or oranges on them fading back to a more normal shade after being in home aquaria for some time.

WHy are these guys hard to find? How much would they go for?

They are considered a food fish and it is near impossible to export. Also if I'm not mistaken they are from a few small areas so they aren't common anyways. As far as I know they have never been available in the US market.
