Hopefully whenever they do become available to us they don't lose that red coloration once we put them in our tanks. Example being the wild midas and red devils people catch with rediculous reds and or oranges on them fading back to a more normal shade after being in home aquaria for some time.

that is more then likely due to horrible lighting in the aquarium.

Outside ponds usually retain their awesome color. (the midas and RDs)

ALso, THese are said to be closer to monoculus and Ocellarius. Most of them even clearly have their Ocellarius "tag".
