Hi,

My two Black Aro are eating only SuperWorms and sometimes Hikari Stick. Do you know any other good food for Aro that is not sinking ?

Thank you ;)

If you can find it,try the Sera Arowana pellets.

You can just hold onto foods at the surface of the water so it doesnt sink. Eventually, once they get used to it, they'll be eating sinking foods you just tossed in before they even hit the bottom.
My little lei actually picks food that gets past him from the bottom.Hope he keeps it up.

What else have you tried? IMO, all aros should also have shrimps in their diet, in addition to pellets/sticks, simply because it is good for them and economical enough. Mealworms/superworms and crickets are very much liked by aros but depending on where you live it can be really expensive to feed them as staples when the aros get big.

The main problem is that my Black Aro are very shy :) They needs a couple minutes to start eating. That why the food must be not sinking.

I have my own SuperWorms farm. That I have it a lot. I'm trying krill, but they not love it very much ;)

I worry about critkets. I haerd about dead Aro after feeding cricrets. Even on this forum you can find couple cases that after feeding crickets Arowana have problems, and died.

I tried red worms. They like it, but I have problem to hang it. Sometimes the fall before the arowana decided to eat it ;)
