Food for Arowana that is not sinking

Live crickets are a favourite of arowanas. I consider these the no1 food source for arowana to start eating after a hunger strike. I have had some fussy arowanas over the years, and none has ever refused live crickets.
Try your lfs or pet store that has reptile supplies as they normally sell crickets that are disease and pesticide free.
 
Feed frozen (thawed) or fresh market shrimp. You can suspend it near the water surface using a veggie clip. Once eating the shrimp you can stuff it with pellets.

Make sure you remove the head and/or tail spikes before feeding.
