Food for Bichers?

I am new to bichir but I feed mine sinking pellets and seafood. I bought a thing of random fish shellfish, squid, fish, crab, and shrimp. I chop that up small and my delhezi loves it but he seems to love anything that he can fit in his mouth and eat. The other fish in my tank like the seafood too.
 
Are you feeding cooked or raw shrimp? A lot of people say they feed shrimp. Just was curious as salad shrimp is close to the right size but never see it for sale raw. We sell large raw shrimp at work but think I would have to chop it up ( which I do not mind) tried feeding some I had bought at the pet store that was freeze dried but they did not go for it.
 
A balanced diet is good u feed mine floating pellets if they can get to them before my cichlids sinking pellets cut up talapia prawns krill beffheart blood worms brine shrimp frozen silver sides earth worms and some times feeders not mutch though hope this helps :D
