yeah what pellet/sticks are you using? is this the floating type or the sinking? and what brand too? I'm want to get my gar off live feeders.

i mainly fed mine shrimp.
but they would take both sinking and floating.
and they also took algae wafers.
i put in some of my arowana sticks and my ciclid pellets both floating and he ate both types so i guess ill continue with the cichlid pellets.
as for the shrimp, what shrimp do you guys suggest?
im going to a fish market later today to get some talapia fillets and want to pick up some shrimp just curious whats the cheapest usually

raw market shrimp?
my gar isnt fussy.. he basically eats anything.. feeders large or tiny, shrimp, fish fillets, pinkies or fuzzies, pellets ..
My little gar just wont stop eating. If i put in 10 feeders then he eats the 10 in less than 15 mins. he nevers leaves any for later. oh well i think i'll have to stick to live feeders til he gets more size. anyway i really enjoy the way he hunts them!
