FOOD FOR MY PLECO?

ok i got some picts of him i know blurry but hes in a bad spot to steady camera so this the best i can do
i know hes not a Scobiancistrus and i dont think hes an Baryancistrus so wat should i feed a Hypancistrus? and he is only 2 in" so how much of it should i feed him at a time?
Sorry about the blurry pic. I took it with my phone. To be honest Im not familliar with the scientific names. Hes a common pleco about a foot long. I just thought it was interesting that he likes to float around while eating. All the other plecos ive ever seen eat on the deck. He loves squash and shrimp.

I feed my plecos a mixture of tomatoes spinach lettuce and hikari algea. you can stuff shove the wafers into the tomato I dont think any of your other fish will get to them that way
