Food Question. (Looking for input on a purchase)

I did put some of everything in. There are at least 20 plecos in the tank. Alot of them are over 4". I figured out what the clouding was from it was from the new water lettauce my friend gave me. the huge roots were dying and sluffing off therefore clouding my tank. Took them all out did a 1/4 water change and all is well. I didn't like how the kiwi turned to mush quick. I think I'll stay away from that. Gonna have to try a mango still. Has anyone ever tried a coconut? Just curious. I would think it would cloud your water pretty bad.

Make sure that the kiwi you get is very green, and hard as a rock. With fruit in general you do not want it to be too ripe, particularly if it is high in acidity.

The only thing that my plecs have gone nuts for is mango. Other than that it is only on their terms, not when I want them to come out. Several foods will bring them out, but none as fast as a green mango.

I've never serve mango to my pleco fishes. How you serve it ?

Get an extra green one. You probably have them growing in your backyard, so pick them when they are HARD and green. Just slice it skin and all and drop it in.
