Food questions for the Ken's Fish shoppers?

i purchased the freeze-dried freshwater shrimp from kens. was perfect for small-medium fish, and there was an amazing amount for just the 1/8 pound i ordered. as was said already, there was almost no dust at the bottom either or even many tiny broken pieces.

every single fish in my 250g and 75g will eagerly come out for it, including my clown loaches and bichirs. so im guessing it must be good stuff.

I got my first Ken's order today. The fish seem to love it. I got a bunch of krill varieties, some growth pellet, and a bunch of veggie flakes and sticks for the mbuna.

Question though.... after feeding the veggie flakes I noticed a white film on the top of the water in the mbuna tank. Tons of tiny little light particles. I've never seen this before. Could it just be tiny remnants of food or something?

The fish seem a bit stressed so I'm changing the water. Weird though. Food doesn't make any sense but I've never seen anything like it and the food is all I changed. Guess I'm just wondering if maybe they left some behind due to the larger flakes and if maybe it dissolves differently or something. The flakes do have a different consistency from the stuff they used to get.
