It's now day 4 and this little guy is still timid as can be usually hiding in the back corner of my 300. I did witness him eat a small amount of blackworms, but that's it so far. I just put in some feeder minnows, so we'll see what happens with that.

I guess I'll just have to be patient.

yes the beefheart does sink if the fish dont get it as soon as it hits the water like mine does lol

if it was eating freeze dried krill it will love frozen krill. plus its fins will turn red from eating it.

My silver loves omega one freeze dried shrimp, that's her favorite...She also enjoys Hikari floating carnivore sticks, freezed dried krill, occasional nightcrawlers and even less frequently megaworms and live goldfish....She's a real pig, not too picky when it comes to food.

As long as it eats a little bit, it'll be fine. It'll take like 1-2 wks before it really eats. mine eats shrimp, dried krill and black worms.
