i cut pieces of fish out from my dinner (while it's raw) and feed it to my oscar, he loves it, he's a picky guy and only likes certain kinds though

Try the New life Spectrum (NLS) Thera-A pellet food, This food has anti-parasitic formula which will prevent unwanted parasites and diseases.

It is best to not use medicated foods as a staple, just when needed.

So I fed my fish some cocktail shrimp and they really liked it. A lot. My knife ate quite a bit and my JD couldnt get enough. My piranhas seem to like it too. Also my red eared slider turtle ate it up quick. Thanks for the suggestions everyone.

Cooked cocktail shrimp is good for feeding fish, but if you don't mind de-shelling, cleaning, or smell of 'raw' uncooked shrimp, that would be much better. Cocktail shrimp loses alot of nutrients, vits, carotene, etc. after have been cooked... frozen, raw 'uncooked' shrimp keeps all of the natural supplements still, thus making it better and healthier to feed your fish. Either one, both is still good feeding!
