oh god i think we all have aros of similar personality. mine spits the shrimp out and now it wont even eat squid and it dosent even look at pellets. picky too picky

it f'd up cause if i put a shrimp in with the shell it spits it out...i take the exact shrimp out of the tank peel it in frontt of the aro as it gets more excited and eats the same damn shimp after it has been pelled:nilly:...it can't even have the little tail shell or rejected...completly clean down the hatch...:grinno:

Mine ate Hikari carnivore sticks, cichlid gold, freeze dried krill, crickets, worms, shrimp, guppies, fatheads and even a huge piece of water melon I threw in the tank for my pacu. The funny part was he messed around with it for a good 15 min till he found the right angle to swallow the piece. oddly enough the only food he didn't like was Azoo arowana sticks.

Mine went 3 weeks without eating anything while i was trying to starve it on to pellets.
i gave up and bought some super worms about 2 weeks ago, the first day it ate loads of em, the second day it left them so i put some pellets in the tank and it ate the straight away!!

Both raw and frozen but be careful with the frozen.

with the frozen just watch the added stuff there is a sodium b that is bad for your fish and can kill them...i don't remeber the full name of it but there is a thread for alittle while ago were a guy lost some aros due to this...
