  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
ok before my last post (20 minutes ago) i added a RCS baby into the tank for him to feed on.
He's chasing it around like crazy now, and this things still swimming, it's been ALIVE in a full marine tank, and seems to still have alot of energy....
just posting because i'm utterly stunned it's still alive.
and my Mantis Shrimp has terrible aim i think, but it's hilarous to watch him stalk this shrimp.

Ok Updated, cherry shrimp has been caught and killed, and i believe my baby mantis deserves his own thread, of his adventures :)

+1...lets see some pictures. :D
how about a sound recording of him mining out his live rock home?

seriously this little bugger will come out for food, but hides the second the camera comes out -_-

also how important is light to live rock?
my light kinda failed today... and i don't know how to replace it without getting a whole new tank (kinda a built in thing)...

Hmm bugger...well anything that is needs light is going to die on your rock. So be ready for the nitrate spike when that happens.

jerry rigged a light, so should be ok, been monitoring water param's nothing unusual

oh, as to the pictures, sat out for over an hour watching me, i touch the camera he hides...
camera shy little fella

Strange, maybe once he settles in he will get better. Some animals almost pose for the camera for me. :D

yeah, he is still fairly new, couple of days new, maybe 4 or 5 now, he ate the first day and then ate again today. he took his food into his burrow -_- or i would have got a snap shot of him eating, had camera going at all, got a pic of live rock...

Frozen Brine Shrimp
and small pieces of shrimp/fish from the supermarket (for dead)
and he got a live hermit crab today he's leaving alone so far.
