yeah. but at least im still within the two week refund guarantee. im thinking about removing some of the other ones hiding spots so i can see it more often, its about 2 inches so itll still have some. if it doesnt work out with this one, im gonna go with the bgk, which i know wont have problems with finding food. but even better hopefully this one will get as big as the other ones. they were very pretty. plus if hes out in the open he may find food easier than if hes hiding like always.

well id leave the log for it that it liked, but i was just going to move some things around so it cant stay hidden all the time. currently it likes to hide inside one of my ornaments, dark enough for it i guess, good thing i remembered not to take that one out while i was cleaning......
Thats great to hear that the little one is feeding regularly, my bgk died about a week ago, when i took the body out it did feel slimier then it should have been do you have any info about that?
i wouldnt say that it had a disease, unless you saw something like was on mine before its death. it prolly felt slimier because it was dead and its body prolly isnt holding on to its natural slime coating at that time.... mine looked like a stringy white slime developing around the gills and all over their bodies, then they died.
Geez your knife will be super fragile till his head apears and kinda seperates from his body. Hope all goes well. I would get him on floating pellets asap so you dont muck up your tank water XD
my guess was that it was a normal post mortem thing for the fish slime to do that. but im not sure i havent handled larger fish after they died. its really going to suck throwing out a full grown piranha when i get them, or a GG, especially if its tippin the scale close to 20 pounds....
