Mine is also glass, at 330 gallons. The stand it came with are all 2x4's, and two cross beams in the middle. Also, there are four heavy duty wheels in the bottom to make it easier to move. But my tank is in the garage and is definitely not a showpiece but rather just a "fish tank".

Glasscages seems to be the cheapest place to buy tanks here and their 300g -340g glass tanks run from $800-$1000 US dollars plus shipping.

I got mine used. Used tanks usually is priced $1.00 per gallon. Thing with my tnak though is that it came with the filter system(wet and dry), stand with wheels. sucker is heavy!
