If I was officer it would be that easy. Enlisted it is a number of things. You get tested on your career field, then the PDG "Professional Development Guide that tests us on Airforce history, Standards, legal, military bearing, ect. We also get points for time in grade, EPR's, and decorations. I am going into this with no points as I barely made the cut due to my date of rank. So If I don't score descent no promotion for me.

Yep, things are always changing with the services. 2 weeks left to study for me. I feel good about it though.

I was a Staff Sergent E-6 Army "All The Way". I was in from 1976 to 1990 (Granada & Panama ) Or WW1 like my kids enjoy saying! Gotta love kids! The up side is dollar mugs at the VFW!!!!
