uhhh.. not neccasarily.. they do open up over time but can be shy.. and even when acclimated for a long time I wouldn't say they're more aggressive than the really aggressive monsters.

But all in all nice rhom. Can't beat that large rhom look. Big and bulky with a big lower jaw..

this is my 5th rhom i have owned and without question the most aggressive!! actually this is the most aggressive fish i have ever seen in person- he does not leave the front of the tank and he never stops chasing whoever is outside the tank--- even if im standing far away, he will chase--- when you put your fingers or hand up to the tank he very often opens up his large mouth and tries to bite... HARD! I really dont know how a fish could be more aggressive? dont get me wrong most rhoms ive had have been more on the skittish/defensive side but this guy is in a class by himself-

That Rhom could probally bite a Dovii in half. That thing is just awesome looking makes me want a Rhom but they are illegal to have in WA state.

there is a guy i know on another site that is selling a HUGE diamond rhom--- the thing is awesome!!! and its located in the seattle, wa area-

awsome rhom ;)

i belive that a fully grown and mature dovii would kill a rhom,if in a neutral fight.thats just my opinion.I dont think it would be a easy fight tho.rhoms are in my opinion one of the top agressive fish you could get also.

awesome rhom!

he's even got 2" on mine!
