while i would never want to go hunting myself, i understand that it is necessary in sime situations and i respect the rights of those who wish to do it. i can also apperciate a good taxidermy mount, and some of those that LP posted are museum quality imo

did your wife's grandpa shoot all them himself or just buy them? edit: just read prev posts

if i was a hunter, i'd only mount what i took myself

i have hunters in my family and it costs like $800 for a deer shoulder mount so it ain't a cheap thing to collect

and lol at the people against hunting. that is all i will say since do not want to derail

Given where most of these animals came from they would either have ended up on the wall and probably in a stew pot or on someones back and a stew pot. Except the fowl and foxes they come from areas of substance hunting. They were probably taken much faster then the natives would have done it.

Canned hunts are typically dangerous game which except for the bear these aren't.

The only legal hunting I really have issue with a baited hunt, bear over bait being the worst.
 
i dont kill deer idk why but i just dont when i hunt with my compound bow. Bear striker bow it is a different way from shooting a rifle but awesome collection.
