I have a 6 yr old, 10-1/2 inch clown knife for sale to a good home.

I took this fish in a couple of weeks ago, with intentions of getting him into a proper tank soon, (he came in a 35, I have him in my 75)

I don't see myself being able to upgrade the tank any time soon, so I'm going to let him go to a new home where he'll have enough room. He was being fed Brine Shrimp cubes when I got him, and he's eating tilapia chunks now. No live feeders.

I hate to see him go, but I don't feel that it's fair for him to be in that 75, when he needs more space.

I cannot ship, as I'm too concerned for his welfare, and have no safe way to do it, so he'll need to be picked up.

I'll want to hear what size tank he's going into, if he'll have any tankmates and what they'll be. And if you don't have any previous experiance with this species, I'll be looking for a post on the Knifefish board asking information. I know this is a lot to ask, but I want to make sure he's going to the best home possible.

You can contact me by PM. As for price I'll consider any reasonable offer.

Here is a picture of him:

(BTW, his water has blackwater tinting in it)

Thanks for your interest!!

Beautiful CK, hopefully you'll find her a good home.

Thanks, update on price $35 OBO, or trade for a small black rhom (2-3 inches)

Bump for a great looking fish!! Someone better snatch him up!!

Thanks druu and Jordan for the bumps!!

I'm located in Adrian, MI.

I'm sorry it took me so long to get back to you!!

I subscribed to this thread, and must've forgotten to allow e-mail notification....>.<

I love him, and he's a great fish, but like I said, I just don't have the funds to get the right tank for him, and that's just not fair to him at all!! He deserves the best he can get!!

When we got him, we were told that he ate all of his tank mates. We've had him in with out 1 1/4 (he grew) L147 pleco. And we've NEVER had a single problem!!

Is that a typo? Even in a small tank you'd think that it would grow more than that in 6 years.

that's what i thought, but i guess it was a combinatiojn of a poor diet and too small of an enclosure. def. sad.
