What size tank with the 2215 work on? I have heard that the Eheims are high ratings, but in reality they work on smaller tanks that what they are rated for.
I use it on a 55 gallon tank, as the only filter. It works fine for me. What I usually do for cannister filters, is I cut the rating in half. It is rated for a 93 gallon tank, so I fingure a 55 is close enough. It holds its own. Good filter.
Originally I had it on a 75g tank by itself, but I could tell it was not enough.
