The skatepark was not there, however there is a public park there, so it's a 50/50, there were events, farmers markets, soccer, baseball, etc... Going on so there was always that noise, not sure what skating brings to the table other activities don't.

I'll tell you what skating brings, punk kids listening to Rob Zombie music that watch house of a thousand corpses when they go home.

This reminds me of idiots in my town who live next to a stock car track and complain about noise even though the track predates their home by 3-4 decades.
