we'll be buying our own house this june (were prety excited :nilly: )
but on the basement theres no toilet...
how do u guys go about water changing on this situation?

ahh garden hose from out side works well make sue the hose don't contain lead many do ( i bet many ppl don't know that ) use like a python homemade thou it's cheaper ..i my self have about 150 water jugs each a gallon i keep filled from my Ro unit for my salt tanks takes up lots of space ...wish i could do somthing eles i have in mind to hold my RO but bight now the bank say no..my fresh tanks i do as said

Toilet? I won't ask.
I start the siphon on the python and take it to a drain that then goes to the sump pit/well to pump it out.

Pee in the sump pump pit.............

Oh, You wanted to know about water changes???

Sorry.......

:screwy:

Just like lil ammerman19 : I just drain into my sump and refill with two fifty foot houses coupled together connect to my kitchen sink.

When doing water changes and you got to go...go. LOL

I use a python on the utility sink.

most all basements have a floor drain (look near the water heater) IF not you can buy pumps at home depot for cheap. Get some sort of collection tank, once it is full enough pump the water outside with a garden hose.
