For Those of You Running Drip Systems

Most of heavy metals will just settle out. You can use a binding agent I swear again my potasium permagante to work in new water. The filtration is a good I dea but Not sure why peple with large tanks need so much fresh water. A larger tank if set up properly should require less matanence. I have a 125 that I never have to change the water in and it is stocked with fish. My filtrations system cheap and effective however. I was thinking plumbing in a whole house filter by my methods work and I never add tap water directly to the tank. There are many bateria in the water from the tap. I like to cycle my water before addin to the tank. Plus I add salt water and my salinity would be off.

Salt water? 125 gals?, no water changes....are you sure you meant to post in the stingray section?

Toby, just ignore this guy. Either he is a very clever troll on here to wind people up or he is just very arrogant and rude and deluded y his 'knowledge'
The moderators really need to sort him out as he is offering up very bad inaccurate advice which will cause people to lose fish. Just the advice of adding permanganate to an active system for clear water for starters!

Where do you guys buy your 10" cartridges? Cuious to see as I get them from Amazon.

I have a 3 stage drip system (HMA) just like this: http://www.devotedly-discus.co.uk/acatalog/Blue.html and run:
1 x prefilter, 1 micron
1 x Pentek ChlorPlus-10 Chloramine, 1 Micron
1 x Pentek Cbr2-10r Carbon Block Multi-media

as you posted a .co.uk link to the system you have i have to take it you are in the UK but who knows when people put silly locations next to there user name like my crib planet earth or other crazy things

if people used the correct location it would save people time in the UK or US

i understand its to cover up some peoples location when they are keeping banned fish but hey
