for those of you that have had green terrors...

my fiance wants one so bad but doesn't want to do the research so i will do it for him! i didn't know what kind of fish you could house with a green terror. what have your experiences been and what has worked for you? he said he wants at least one other fish with the GT thank ya!

Tank size will dictate what other fish you can keep with it. Some GT's are very territorial and some are not. Depends on the individual fish.

is it best to purchase tankmates with the gt when they are all juveniles?

yea the one i had was not aggresive at all...and he was in a 55 gallon with other similar size cichlids while he was young. they are awesome fish and when theybegin to mature their colors are amazing. i have never seen on that was aggresive to the point of killing or seriously harming other fish however i am sure they are out there...so you might just have to get the GT and test the waters with another fish once he is established

sorry i didnt see the last post....from my experience it works much better if you are willing to buy his tankmates at the same time with the risk of him beating them up. however i could be wrong and i am sure someone will correct me
