No but i always check for lice because its a lot harder to just quarentine them away.

I use feeders like live crabs and crayfish for my puffer and my stingray. And I also feed live guppies, rosies to my Peacock Basses and Gar. I usually feed live food every 2 days correspondingly. I quarentine all my feeders in a seperate tank for up to 3-5 weeks with treating them all for and parasitic things and to uplift anything they got on them. I do gutload them with healthy foods that contain vegetable matter and meaty foods into them. As far...ever since Ive been having fishes none of the fishes that eat live food never caught an dieseases
 
i use goldfish, i feed a knife fish, 4 red belly pacus, 1 albino tiger oscar and a red tailed payara. i do not quarintine but only put as much as the fish are going to eat in about a day in there. it is not out of entertainment though. i use feeders for the red tail because he will not eat anything else at all, he would rather starve to death than eat any other food. i feed the other fish feeders just because before i became more educated on fish diseases i was told that they needed the feeders to be healthy. i have gotten a disease in a tank once before and that was when had a south american gar, reed fish and arrowana die. it was the pet stores fault i belive. they had a bad problem with diseased fish and said nothing just sold them and then said well what do ya want us to do.
 
I use Guppies and Minnows. I usually don't feed feeders often, but right now, I'm using them to get some size on my fish. Since all my Congo Tetras are dead, everyone are basically predators, so both my tanks get them. I don't quarantine or gut load...reason for me is that fact that these are predators and in nature, they feed on the sick and the weak. That's the excuse I came up with. I know there are a lot of people who will dispute my reason, but it has worked for me for many years and haven't lost a fish to a diseased feeder yet.

Goldfish for now.

Necessity as some of my fish will only eat live. Also it's interesting to see them hunt in the pond.

How often do you use feeders?
I throw in about 50-60 of them into the pond for each week.

Anything living in the pond that can eat them. (Bass, jag, Idk about the vieja or the rt or the jd.)

No, because surprisingly my Petsmart has healthy feeders. I also don't want to waste any room for a separate quarantine tank. Plus my parents would go nuts if I tried to set up another tank just to keep feeders in. I was toying with the idea of setting up a separate pond to raise feeders in.

Do you gut load?
I try to, feed them stuff while they are in the bag before dumping them in, I also throw in Omega One cichlid pellets about 3 times a week. The fish also eat bugs that happen to land in the pond.

Have you gotten any diseases because of it?
Not yet and I hope that I never do.

Guppies, swordtail, platy, convict fry, and crayfish babies.

Both I guess. I get rid of extra fry/crays and my fish enjoy the chase.

Whenver I have extra fry or my tank is over run with cray babies.

Rocket gar, puffer, BGK, ray, all cichlids

No, all feeders come from my own tanks

Not really, the feeders all eat the same quality foods as my other fish.
