She died also, but maybe i learned a little about these rays. I don't know if I will buy online again and don't think I will quart. either unless I see something visibly wrong with them otherwise a prazi or freshwater bath. the worst thing is 222.00 dollars thrown away.
Sorry man. You just have to find the right place to get stuff from. I can send you a picture of a dead leopard shark that died during acclimation cause it was so poorly shipped. $1200 down the drain! Its heart breaking when stuff like this happens. Trust me I understand you frustration.
Yea, I know you guys spent alot more money by far on you're sharks and rays. There should be some kind of guarentee when you pay that kind of money for a fish. There is ways of seeing how long a guy has been in this hobby for the dealer to know he/she is'nt just starting off and knows what they are doing.
For me its just not about the money but the fact you wait and wait for these animals and you send money to some gut you don't know. Then you get a sick fish thats been poorly shipped or worse yet like me and jabba you just wait and get nothing.
I will say though that the dealer that goes by blacktip 17 has been great to deal with and both the black tip and lemon he sold me were in great health. I have picked up fish from both his house and his pet shop and every thing has been very legit.
Him and his brother are very sharp and they build some really sick equip. like giant skimmers and stumps.
We just need more dealers that are on the up and up.
