Forgot to plug in heater, dang it!

The only time I use heater in freshwater tank is combat ich, other than that I run my tank as room temp even in winter the water temp drop around 60F~62F and my fish are doing fine and seem don't care about temp as long it rise and drop in timely manner. The only tank that I keeping heater in winter at 76F is my saltwater reef tank cause saltwater live stock are more sensitive to temp change, I'm quite sure they will be fine too but I'm not risking a few thousand bucks for experiment :p

You're not alone I've done that many times myself. Now that I'm middle aged I seem to forget to do a lot of things these days. Forgot to plug the heater back in probably at least 3-4 times in the past year alone. Not a good thing for people like myself that are cichlid keepers since they don't like temps much below the upper 70's. Thankfully I always check tanks in the morning so I usually find my mistake within 8 hours at least.
