There are several anoying threads started in the lounge, However the topics are legal where as medical marijuana is not legal in every state or country. The mods are doing their job!!!
I come here to learn and share fish related information. Not to post about what chips I like, or what I'm listening to, or any of that BS..lol!!!

Not to mention that some one also reminded me that whether or not it is legal in your state, it is still illegal in the eyes of the Federal Government.

i totally agree with the mods stance on this subject and other subjects they deem irrelevant. But it seemed to me that many peoples argument for not allowing his discussion to go on, was that this was a fish forum. which is not all entirely true. The OP must understand why he isnt allowed to discuss such subjects and hopefully he will quit making thread after thread on the same subject with the same result.

no arguing going on, its a fish forum so why get heated about rules regarding non fish related threads.
why not chill out and talk fish as i'm sure thats what brings people here in the first place.

Borderline issues are not wellcome in the Forum. THis may be debatable, but those are the rules ( even the unwritten ones that have to discipline a dynamic community such as MFK ).

The Lounge has its purpose, but it surely is not an all open smorgasbord for every theme each of the 80,000 members choose to.

This is, first and foremost, a Fish and hobby related place, where young people come in to learn and to grow with this hobby and in its furtherance.

Let us all keep that in mind, please.

I can't understand how someone who lists himself as "Student and Military/Future Dr." would wish to continue this debate. As a Navy Chief (ret), had I seen excerpts of this sort concerning one of my men, it would immediately spark an investigation and suspension from normal duties until the results of a whizz quiz. Of course, there is something to be said for the types that appreciate negative attention over no attention at all.
