The problem is that too much of the public views fishkeepers as people who like to sit and stare at fish for hours so they think we must be high to enjoy that. Threads that reinforce that stereotype dont belong on a site that promotes fishkeeping to the public.

And if you need to spark a bong to enjoy your fish, you are more of a stoner than fishkeeper imho.

As for the original thread that sparked this thread, it pushed the envelope of discussable topics. If you post a thread that MIGHT seem offensive or wrong to anyone, expect it to be deleted.

I got a post deleted once for asking if poop would be a good way to culture tubifex worms. Was that deletion a reasonable response to my earnest question? No. Did it tick somebody off and require moderation to make the thread nicer for everyone? Yes. Suck it up and move on. We are in Li's house. Have some manners. Just admit you said something offensive and don't do it again. Pretty simple.
