I am planning to keep it for the long haul. This is the first time I gave him feeders too. Just wanted to see Will....bite some ass lol. I usually give him turtle sticks and I think he is eating some of the plants (should be) because I can kinda see it in his poop. I plan to get more different stuff for him to eat.

They will eat just about anything
Fish, bugs, small mammals, frogs and tadpoles, snakes, salamanders, all sorts of plant matter have all been found to be in a wild turtles diet i've even heard of large turtles eating smaller ones if it moves or looks good a snapper will eat it
Be sure it does have some type of plant matter in its diet try blanched lettuce

he is so cute... i had mine a few years.... i miss him... snappers are very sweet... you handle them right theres no problems..mine loved arowana pellets and don't forget to give him his veggies ... i do not remenber what age i started giving him zukes,zucchini and carrots but oboy once he discovered he liked them he really liked them... also lettuce...etc
