I think the eye biter is gorgeous. i found one today about 2.5 inches long maybe longer im horrible at measurement for $6. he stood out amongst all the toher assorted african cichlids in the tank, being the only silver one with a long face and line down the side. i thought he was pretty. is that to much for one of these or is that pretty much the norm price for them? Thanks!

First off... what do you mean by normal price? Internet prices you can look up yourself. Local prices well you will likely know that... But heck I would just say is 6 bucks too much for you to pay for a fish you want? (It likely costs you that much just to go to the store and back...) I am sorry if I am coming across sharply, but well I see posts like these and for some reason they make me want to slap the back of someones head and say think...

well im breeding them, thats what i'd sell mine for.

now my 2nd batch, i now have around 40-50 babies growin up :headbang2:

$6? Even if it was a bad price, say it was only $3 here, you wouldn't buy it? I have contemplated buying fish that cost 60$ just in shipping alone. If you really want it you will shell out the 6 washingtons and 42 cents for it.

lol tuner.

6 bucks seems to be a little bit higher then what they cost out here, they would be like 3-5 bucks...but its neglegible......so if you like it, i would say 6 is a fair price.....anyway, if it's a male and you grow it out, it'll be worth alot more then that and look really nice in your tank.

$6 is the cheapest I ve heard of them go for. I havent seen one for under $15 in my area. You could probably just look up the prices online though. If you like buy it, if you dont then dont.

:ROFL:crack me up... 6 is fair... if you are looking for an excuse to tell someone... then quote me as saying...

That is a steal...

hope that quote will justify their questioning....

sorry i ddint mean to make you all mad, its just a very unsual fish around my area. no one ever keeps any carnivorous, or big fish out here so it was kinda odd. and NO i would not pay any price for a fish i thought was way to friggin high. i was just wondering like i said. i must have not been typing it right on yahoo to find prices. sorry to bug you all.
