Fair enough as you could probably guess by me instantly recognizing that blade I am a history buff as well

I will not however give Hitler the satisfaction of calling his empire great. It was a bit too short and he never managed to defeat any of the other REAL super powers of his time England,US,Russia. I mean come on a boy scout troop could invade France :D ;)

His pursuit of absolute power caught up to him pretty quickly when he found himself fighting on 2 fronts.

One of my favorite parts of WW2 is the Skip bombing campaign that took place near Australia that few people ever research some very interesting naval Air tactics where developed there. Mainly skipping dumb bombs on the waters surface to slam them into the vulnerable sides at or near surface level of armored ships. Similar to what all ship destroying long range missiles do today.

Ok I am rambling now LOL

He made some stupid mistakes, which ultimately ended his reich. IMO the only reason it fell was because the USA got involved. The united states because, of its location is almost invincible to any european power of that time, and now. Russia was a huge ***** to turn against too.... :( *shakes head*. Oh well. Life goes on.

I have indeed read into the skip bombs. That is pretty cool. And very creative.

How far back into history does your knowledge go?

Lets see some pics of your guys Spyderco collections , or other quality knives too. (No late night 50 folding knives for $100 deals though)
Ill post mine up as soon as I get a chance.

Yes, I agree.. I am also interested in seeing some pics.

My favorite I have carried this thing everywhere for 3 or 4 years now still like brand new and sharp as all hell

My knowledge of history doesn't go much farther back then WW1 I know a few things here and there but not nearly as much as I know about ww2. Actually a large majority of my reading has involved the experience of the people of Hiroshima right before and after "the BOMB" fell.

Even after quite a few books I can not begin to imagine how terrible it must have been.

We will never know if it was necessary or not but hopefully the world learned a lesson about the devastation of atomic weapons and why they should never be used.

Some more-no spyderco's for me though!!!

Nice blade!

Yes, I have read alot into Hiroshima. That was quite the event. I am a big WW2 history buff. I really enjoy the attack here at pearl Harbor, that was just... elite..

You should go back further. The real good stuff is in the BC. Here is a little taste of some of the goodies.

I will take some pictures of some more knives and maybe even some swords or my Chef knives tomorrow

We both enjoy Peacock bass , Knives , and WW2 or history in General. That is pretty crazy.
