Found an aquarium maintenance program

Question: When you do you water tests now, do you write the values down? Or do you just make adjustments if the value is outside the acceptable range and not worry about tracking the values?

i only really test nowadays, when i notice or suspect something or problems. i do not test every tank at every WC. i do however always test new aquariums for couple months for any spikes.

i was at the lfs the other day and found out the guy working there is also a marine biologist and the fish store is a part time job for him. he was tellin me about a new program coming out that tracks everything in your water, its some sort of probe that sits in the tank and attaches to a pc or lap top and it will give you all the info you need. the only down side is he said it runs around 12 grand.

that could definitely be built. So im thinking im going to get started with some basic tank parameter tracking, and maint scheduling.
