I got a nice piece of driftwood given to me by my brother in law that was collected from their property.
I boiled it for 45 mins to about an hour and have had it setting in a bucket of water for about 3 weeks now(changing the water every couple days)
The wood is now water logged but has a fishy, I guess pond smell to it. Would it be safe to use in the tank? I guess I never really smelled the store bought wood before.
