If you decide to paint it that would probably be another $10
If you cover the outside of the stand with wood to make it look like a cabinet it could cost an extra $30 at least
This all of course provided you have or know someone who has a saw and drill

Ya, that's not to bad to make a stand. Have you made one before, I don't think it would be to difficult.

Agreed. Id love to see different gravel but the fish seems to be fine without it. I would not consider it important unless you! dislike the gravel it really does not matter. Put your money in the stand if you want one Great setup and congrats!

It's a lowboy stand. Used for reptile tanks. Not made to put canister filters under. However for the price, if that's good for your area. Then jump on it, and put your canisters on the side if need be.

agree on the stand height. I own the same tank and it sits on a stand that is 28" tall and it is very pleasing to view.

I would not go shorter than a stand of around 27-28" or so. and 30" would be even better. just get a 4 foot stepladder like I did
