Sorry for your loss-that was a beautiful fish- I once lost a 14 inch Trimac-to this day I will never know how it died.
I know this sounds crazy but any fish that I have had for more than 2 years and atleast a foot I take to a taxidermist and have them mounted in my living room-I got Trimac, RD, Buttikefori, Escondido, Barred Midas-it's like there right there with me-LOL

That would be cool to keep fish like that. If you don't mind me asking, what has been the average cost of this?

She looks so perfectly healthy, too. I wonder what happened. That would be tough to take to lose such a beautiful fish you've had for a long time :-(

Yep, I don't know what happened.

I was going to do a necropsy, but I just couldn't cut into that fish. My husband was like: "Just do it, you've done this before. The fish is dead, it's not like you will hurt it." I know he was right, but I just couldn't make those cuts.

Sorry for your loss. I know what you mean by the tank feeling empty without a big Gold Severum in there as I've seen the vivid colour they can bring to tanks. Looks like you've got a nice Green and Rotkiel to keep the Severum power living on though.
