Found rocks containing poisonous chemicals

i agree rocks here are so expensive if you buy from stores.

I can understand money can be the issue. But between buying rocks from a reputable source and risking your stocks to a rock full of toxins, which would you choose?
 
Plus in addition to this the heavy metal poisoning might not manifest itself for a while in the goldfish or snails (dont test things on live animals please) creating even more problems. When in doubt throw it out!!

In addition a "reputable source" dosent have to be a store. It can be a quarry or yard where you are sure of the stone you are receiving. I have had good results with sourcing stone just make sure you know what it is.
