Im a big advocate of high flow in piranha tanks. As long as the substrate stays put, give her hell lol. My cariba look bored in a 125 with a hydor magnum 6.

I think I will have to hook up a fan then, there is good circulation so not much build up but I wouldnt say there is alot of current. Advice on how to arrange filter intake and output ?
For me, The filter intake placement depends on the filter output and powerhead placement. Just set up the output and powerhead however you like, and youll see waste and junk start to accumulate in one area. Simply put the filter intake as close to that as possible.
