They make an interesting bottom dweller for sure. If I remember correctly, the're more closely related to spiders than actual crabs. When my lfs got them in I was like WTF and had to buy one. Before that id only seen them on tv.
Yea I have 3 different threads all containing HD quality photos, I sent one in for April potm. Not the best photo, but its one of my personal favorites. Its the one of my lionfish with his mouth wide open yawning. Next potm I will submite a full hd quality photo that im hoping will take the cake lol
All those pics were takin over a long time period. You can notice the "antennas" on the volitan getting shorter in a couple of my picture threads. The volitan started out solo in a 65gal. Then moved him to a 90gal (when I bought my tesselata at 9") then later moved them to the 120. Yellowhead (Fimbriated moray) went into the 65, then the 120 once the tesse outgrew it. I cant even remember, iv had soo many tanks come and go for growouts and temp homes.
