Any idea what type of leech it is? I don't even know of people collect these, just curious.

Eggs? Sweet. And yea it's about 8" stretched out.. It's dying though so I think it already laid eggs. It's just strange. Never seen one in the creek behind my house in the 6 years I've lived here. I went out to set up a minnow trap for my LMB and found it coiled up, so I put it in the tank lol. I'll probably flush it tomorrow.. Along with the creek chub I caught in the trap. The bass can't eat the chub yet, be its still trying to.

Looks like it could be Haemopis sp. aka a horse leech. Predates on other invertebrates and tadpoles.
