One of my Piranhas bit half of my other piranhas tail fin off. And because that made it swim slower, the other piranha kept on attacking it. So what I did was I caught the bully piranha and cut a bit of its tail fin off with some scissors. This made them both swim slower. And it worked, the bully piranha stopped attacking the other one and now both of their fins are growing back healthily. Just thort I would share this experiment with you

are you serious? after hearing that, im sure everyone here will love you:screwy:

Whatever floats your boat, most fishkeepers here actually try to take care of there fish, or is this one of those I was just kidding just wanted to see your reaction deals.........

no comment on this. just spechless

wow guy im sure taking the bully back to the store was out of the question.... now when they both heal up im sure the same thing will happen again.....you should just give your fish back to the store and go burn ants with a magnifying glass you sick ****

You have 2 rbp in a tank any you think they will get along.... you ALWAYS either go with a single one or a group of 5 or more.

As for clipping off the tail:screwy:

that is a horrible temporary solution at best, what happens when the tail grows back and he goes right back to picking on the other one? there are far more responsible ways of dealing with aggression than chopping off the aggressor's tail in an attempt to slow him down. did you try lowering the temp, creating more hiding places, or anything else first? when things get bad, you can separate the fish by putting them in different tanks or by giving one away... or in your case, both of them.
