found way to stop rbp picking on each other

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
The only reason that this "bully" stopped doing what he was doing was due to the shock of being pulled out and cut. This would not solve the aggression issues by any means. What size tank are they in. How old and what size are they.

well I did this about two months ago,all fins healed up within two weeks and havnt had any truobles sins. the reason they were stressed out enough to fight was because I had jsut moved them into a new tank. fighting stopped, fish healed, every thing is good. i carnt belive all the crap I got from you guys. you guys watch ure pirahnas rip other fish to pieces and then you complain about me snipping of a tiny bit of fin. i didnt even take the fish out of the water, and it didnt freak out as if it was in pain. every thing went back to normal and the fighting stopped. if any of you arnt complete arrogant ass holes I think it would be quite right that I get some apologys!

You won't get one from me, feeding a p is not the same as what you say you did, I don't get into the lets see who has the tuffest fish thing but whatever floats your boat there your fish............

and with that this is my last post on this crazy subject............WOW

i think it was a pretty good idea, fish don't feel their fins, kind of like clipping your nails or cutting your hair. thumbs up for creativity, and i like how everything is good now, but you really should try to get some more though.

thanks, its nice to have one person with some common sense!
i agree completely, the knowledge that has been gained over many many years of fish keeping does not apply in this situation. i just wish that someone would have told me this way back in the day when i started raising piranhas. thank you for trying something crazy, you have just rewritten the book on piranhas.

ak, i will leave it up to you to submit this wonderful tip to frank so that he may share this with the rest of the serious hobbyists.

p.s. - this is for you ak - trivia question of the day:

Pimpin ain't _______

(a) hard
(b) easy
(c) both a and b
