Found what looks like a red JD

I agree with some of the earlier posts...just a regular JD looking a bit washed out. I know my JD pair can and will greatly change in color intensity (lightness & darkness)...depending on their:

- mood
- substrate color
- amount of light in the tank (day/night)

I agree with washed out/stressed jd. Mine does this when I have to move him to another tank with unfamiliar tank mates.

standard jack that is washed out there many variants of jacks this pair I had displayed high red content...And in the future you will be able to see some nice wild caught specimens that are like red wine....
